1.  Celaena Sardithein- she is the main protagonist of this book series. Her parents were killed when she was very young, also she was found in near-dead by Arobynn Hamel. Since her Childhood she was trained to become an assassin. Later she gained a reputation as the greatest in the world. But her master betrayed and imprisoned her in the salt mines of Endovier. After one year she got the opportunity to participate in a competition to become the king’s champion. In case she wins, she must remain in the king of Adarlan’s service for 4 years and after that she get her freedom and full pardon. It is revealed in the following books of this book series that she is actually the lost princess of Terrasen. Celaena is at talented, clever, arrogant, beautiful and owns striking physical features.

2. Rowen Whitethorn Galathynius- he is around three centuries old. His hair color is Silver and he has wine green eyes which can take the form of a white tailed Hawk. Also he has the powers of cryokinesis and wind manipulation. His wife and his unborn child were killed in the events of Throne of Glass a few hundred years ago. He was given a task to train Aelin when she came to see Maeve.

3. Dorian Havilliard II- he is also known as the Crown Prince of Adarlan. He choose the option to sponsor Celaena as his contender for the competition to become his father’s champion. He tried to stand up to his father for many time but failed. Captain of the Guard is his best friend.

4. Manon Blackbeak Crochen- Manon an heir and witch to the blackbeak Clan. She belongs to an ironteeth plan making up the heavenly Martial faction of witches is known as the ironteeth. She is the granddaughter of Blackbeak Matron.

5. Chaol Westfall- Chaol is the captain of the guard. He is very wary of Celaena in the first book. He is recognized the threat she poses to the kingdom. He is also very close to Dorian and he has been to sacrifice his life for him.

6. Elide Lochan- she is cousin of Ailen and has Blackbeak blood in her body. Her uncle has imprisoned her in a tower since if she was 8 years old, which cause her to lose the ability to read. She also suffers a terrible leg injury.

7. Princess Nehemia Ytger- she is a princess of the kingdom of Eyllwe and she has chosen to ally with Adarlan so the people of Adarlan won’t be killed. She pretends that she can only speak in her native tongue and also acts like she does not understand what people say. The first book of this book series, Celaena how to speak the common Adarlanian language. She has very strong will. She is able to communicate with Celaena because Celaena knows how to speak in Nehemia’s language.

8.Aedion Ashryver- Aedion is also a Wolf of the north by commoners. Actually he is cousin of Ailen. He is a Very faithful and loyal person. He has a will to die for his queen. He is 6 feet 3 inches tall. He is heavily muscled and has a tanned complexion. He has long Golden blonde hair.
