iPhone 11 vs iPhone X: What Are the Key Differences?

Looking to pick up your next iPhone this year, but you aren’t sure which one to buy? There are so many iPhones that are still on the market, and they all run together. Which is the best bang for your buck?

We’re here to talk about the iPhone 11 vs the iPhone X and what you can expect from each. If these are your primary choices, you’re in the right place.

Keep reading to learn all about these two popular iPhone models so you can decide if the iPhone 11 or iPhone X is the best iPhone for you.

Appearance: Screen

While the iPhone 11 is the newer and “better” of the two iPhones, the screen leaves something to be desired.

While it’s scratch and drop resistant, it’s lower resolution than it’s previous iteration. Many people won’t notice the difference, but anyone who’s used to the high-res screen of the iPhone X may notice a drop in quality that’s hard to ignore at first.

Your images won’t look as crisp on the phone, your blacks won’t be as black, and your contrast will leave something to be desired.

That said, most people won’t notice the difference after the first few days.

Appearance: Design

The designs of the phone are similar (rather, almost identical). The iPhone tends to have the same style across generations, with only small tweaks over time.

You have more color options with the iPhone 11. Purple, yellow, green, white, black, and red, are all available, though with phone cases many people are uninterested in pretty aesthetics. The iPhone X only comes in grey and black.

Camera

This is where a lot of people are interested in phone technology. After all, we all use our phones to capture special moments (or selfies) when it’s inconvenient to lug around a camera.

The iPhone X has an impressive dual-camera setup. It has a wide-angle lens and telephoto zoom sensors. The iPhone 11 has a wide-angle lens and ultra-wide sensors. Bother cameras are 12mp.

The front camera (or the selfie camera, as many of us call it) is 7mp on the iPhone X and 12mp on the iPhone 11. This upgrade alone may be enough for some people to jump to the 11, but it depends on your selfie habits.

Cost

The iPhone 11 obviously costs more, as it’s the newer model. It started off at an “affordable” (for Apple) price, though.

The iPhone X is the more affordable option and buying from a certified seller of used phones, is a great way to get an even better price on a quality phone.

If a richly-colored screen and zoom telephoto sensors are valuable to you, the lower cost might be worthwhile even when the costs are comparable.

iPhone 11 vs iPhone X: Which Is Right for You?

Is it time for an iPhone upgrade? When deciding between the iPhone 11 vs iPhone X, your decision isn’t easy. Both are awesome upgrades from previous models, and no matter what you choose, you’re getting a great phone.

We love the 11 for its improved camera, but the X with its stronger build and the high-resolution screen is a strong contender. Which is right for you?
