Duet with yourself is something like a candlelight dinner alone. We don’t want to make any comparisons below the belt here. But now it has to go – is it like pedaling a tandem on your own? Who knows TikTok does not find this idea so absurd. Especially since it is not that fresh, but has already been implemented by many creators. Accordingly, we ask ourselves, how do you create such a duet with yourself?
How to create a TikTok Duet
Find a great video on TikTok that works for a duet. It doesn’t have to be singing and dancing, which is exactly why the app has a new name and is no longer so musical. The duet can actually be viewed as a video response, as a dialogue. However, it should be differentiated from the function of the reaction to TikTok, which we explain here. If the duet function is not available, he has deactivated it either for the profile or for the clip. In step 2 of creating a duet, click the Share button when you find the original material and then go to the duet. Allow the app all the rights it asks, records your duet, and beautify it. You can achieve the perfect duet by paying attention to timing and overall impression. The keyword here is also the format, as the video is then very narrow on edge.
TikTok duet with yourself
Special formats are, of course, duets of duets as well as a duet with oneself. While you can create a duet from a duet, as in the above, simply using parts and a duet (you were just too often a duet in a sentence), you can create a duet of yourself sometimes not so easy even, since you can share your own videos, the button for the duet simply doesn’t exist.
The video must allow the duet option. Your channel has to be public. Two requirements and the button for the duet appear. Was it easy? What?Alternatively, you can use a tool for duets that you don’t create in the TikTok app yourself. This is also the reason for this post here. Otherwise, it would be a bit weak.

There you have to work with masks. Make sure that the clip you create can only be 15 seconds long. But you have a lot more freedom in terms of synchronization. Creating a good duet is not enough; you need to have good views on your videos.
