Kristin Chenoweth is a Mrs. The Texas Bride’s Pink Wedding to Josh Bryant

The 55-year-elderly Broadway star openly shared her surprise decision to tie the knot with 39-year-elderly musician Josh after five years of dating in a lovely Texas ceremony. In an interview with People, Kristin Chenoweth admitted that she had always seen herself as a lifelong bachelorette and had never thought marriage was in the cards for her.

She said, “I have been a self-proclaimed bachelorette my entire life. I was never going to receive married. I even got engaged before and couldn’t depart through with it. But then I met Josh, and I thought, ‘Why would I ever allow this guy go?’ I feel incredibly blessed.”

Known for her role as Glinda the Good Witch in the popular musical ‘Wicked,’ Kristin Chenoweth opted for a pink wedding dress instead of the traditional white to emphasize the non-traditional nature of their ceremony. She explained, “I didn’t desire to wear white. I went for something simple and elegant. Since I never thought I’d obtain married, I decided to depart non-traditional with the gown. I love it. We exchanged a form of traditional vows, however I’m not saying ‘Obey!'”

Before the wedding, Kristin, who first met Josh when he performed with his band at her niece’s wedding, expressed her desire to look and feel like her authentic self on their special day. She wanted Josh to perceive the woman he had been in a relationship with, not some exaggerated version.

She shared, “On that day, I desire to look and feel like Kristin, and I want Josh to observe the girl he has been with for five years. I’ll look glamorous, however, my hair won’t be towering up to the heavens, even though we’ll be in Texas. I want to resemble myself.”
