His complete name was Oail Andrew “Bum” Phillips Jr. He was a professional Football coach and had worked at the High School, College and Professional levels. From 1975 to 1980, he has worked as Head coach in the National Football League (NFL) for the Houston Oilers. After that he worked as the head coach for the New Orleans Saints from 1981 to 1985.
