NEET 2021 Overview 

Students are offered admissions to more than five hundred medical colleges across India through this eligibility exam, comprising 278 government and 263 private institutes. It is conducted once a year for admission in medical, Ayush, and dental courses. The mode of application is online, but the exam is conducted offline mode. The exam comprises 180 multiple choice questions of 720 marks, and each candidate gets 3 hours to complete the test.

  • Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Oscillations, Gravitation, and Kinematics comprise 3% weightage each.
  • System of Particle and Rigid Body comprises 7% weightage.
  • Waves and Work, Energy, & Power hold 4% weightage. 
  • Thermodynamics comprises 7% weightage. 
  • Kinetic Theory of Gases, Thermal Properties of Matter, Electric Charge & Field, Electrostatic Potential & Capacitance comprises 2% weightage each.
